Let’s Get Your Board on Solid Ground
Whether you just got elected and feel in over your head, or you have been at this a while and something is not sitting right, I can help you understand what your board is actually supposed to be doing and how to do it well.
Save the expensive help for when you actually need it
Here is something I learned the hard way, from the other end of the invoices. A lot of what overwhelms a board is not actually legal work. It is just not understanding your own documents or your own job. But when a board does not know where to turn, it turns to a lawyer and pays top-dollar hourly rates to have someone explain things that were never really legal questions.
I handle that layer, the reading, the understanding, the how-does-this-actually-work, for a fraction of what an attorney charges. That way you save the real legal spending for the real legal problems: the liens, the litigation, the genuine gray areas. I am not a lawyer and I will never pretend to be, and part of what I do is tell you plainly when something has crossed into territory where you truly need one.
What working together looks like
There is no package to pick from a menu. Every board is sitting in a different spot, so we start with where yours actually is.
You tell me what is going on
Fill out the form below in your own words. No jargon, no polish. Just the situation as it actually is.
I read it myself and reply
Not a form letter and not a sales sequence. I will tell you what I am seeing, what I think is going on, and whether I am the right person to help.
We figure out what your board actually needs
Sometimes it is untangling your governing documents. Sometimes it is training a whole new board on how to govern. Sometimes it is a steady hand for a while. We scope it to the real problem, not to a package.
Your board ends up standing on its own
That is the whole goal. Not a board that depends on me forever, but a board that knows its documents, its money, and its job well enough to run the community without anyone holding the wheel for them.
Tell me what’s going on
A real person reads this. When you reach out, you get me, not a chatbot trained to sound like me.
Send me the situation in your own words. No jargon needed. I read every one of these myself and I will get back to you.
